What is Laser Skin Tightening?

When we are younger, our skin naturally produces plenty of collagen and elastin to keep our skin firm and taut. Increasing stress and the natural aging process can begin to wear away at these important components of our skin. For healthier skin that bounces back, Ohana Aesthetics and Wellness uses laser skin tightening with the Harmony XL PRO laser. This advanced skin tightening procedure stimulates collagen growth with heat and light, invigorating targeted skin regions to regain their elasticity. Schedule a consultation with nurse practitioner Kathy Cooper today to see how our team can help you achieve your goals for optimal skin health.

LASER SKIN TIGHTENING faq

How does laser skin tightening work?
The Harmony XL PRO laser uses an infrared light beam to heat collagen deep within the skin. In response, the collagen fibers contract, giving an almost immediate look of tauter, more youthful skin. In addition, the procedure may exfoliate damaged tissue as well, stimulating cells to begin repairing the area.

How many treatments will I need to achieve the look I want?
The total number of treatments will depend on the starting laxity of your skin, along with your aesthetic concerns. At your initial exam, Kathy will learn more about personal goals so that she can confirm how many treatments would be beneficial, as well as provide an estimated cost for the procedure based on your needs and budget.

Does laser skin tightening hurt?
At Ohana Aesthetics and Wellness, we do everything we can to ensure you are relaxed throughout the course of your treatment. Targeted skin regions may experience an intense warming sensation, and side effects can feel similar to a sunburn. While the majority of patients find that the Harmony XL PRO laser device doesn't cause major discomfort, our team can give you a topical numbing ointment to reduce the sensation of heat. We are committed to providing you with a pleasant, therapeutic experience throughout your procedure.
